The University of Auckland is a world-ranked university, listed in the top 100 globally (QS World University Rankings 2024). It has an excellent reputation for research and graduate prospects, placed 1st in New Zealand and 68th globally in the QS Graduate Employability Ranking 2022. Graduates of the University of Auckland occupy leading positions in Business, Law, Medicine, Politics, Arts, Engineering and other professions within New Zealand and overseas.

The University of Auckland is the only university in New Zealand to be a member of Universitas 21, the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities. Membership to these prestigious groups is by invitation only.

Triple Crown Accreditation

The University of Auckland has a Triple Crown accreditation for Business from AACSB International (USA), EQUIS (Europe) and AMBA (UK). Awarded by the three largest business school accreditation associations, this award has only been given to 90 business schools worldwide (as of March 2019). This is our students' assurance that the University of Auckland Business School provides programmes of the highest quality and meets the highest international standards.

The University of Auckland was last audited in 2014 (Cycle 5) by the Academic Quality Agency, the body with responsibility through Universities New Zealand for quality assurance of New Zealand universities.
