Established in 1883, the University of Auckland is the top university in New Zealand and ranked among the top 100 universities globally (QS World University Rankings 2023). Studying the University of Auckland’s Foundation Studies Certificate programme will prepare you for your undergraduate degree at the University. You will study your programme on campus at Taylors College while at the same time benefiting from access to all the University's facilities.
The University of Auckland has over 44,000 students. More than 8,800 of these are international students from 120 different countries worldwide. This diversity of perspectives and cultures enriches the entire University community. To further your cultural experience, you also have an opportunity to study a semester abroad at one of the University’s 180 partners around the world.
The top students of the Foundation Studies Certificate programme are also eligible to receive a University of Auckland award of up to NZ$10,000.

After successfully completing the Foundation Studies Certificate programme, you can progress to a full range of undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Auckland.
