When you successfully complete the Auckland Foundation Year you are guaranteed a place at one of our partner universities, The University of Auckland, AUT University, or Massey University.

Each university has their own specialisms, such as AUT which focuses on research in areas like biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Massey University has over 100 degree programmes with excellent specialities like veterinary science. The University of Auckland is a top 100 university ranked by the QS World University Rankings, making it perfect for international students who want a university with an international focus.

The Foundation Studies Certificate (Auckland Foundation Year - AFY) is a qualification of the University of Auckland offered through Taylors College, Auckland. In addition to its partnership with the University of Auckland, Taylors has formal agreements with two other leading New Zealand universities; AUT University and Massey University. Provided you meet the requirements set out in this brochure, you are guaranteed admission to the full range of degree programmes at any of these three universities.
